Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Solution Architect, located in Greater London. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions, ensuring that solutions meet business requirements and are scalable, reliable, and secure. Daily tasks include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, defining technical architecture, guiding development teams, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role also involves staying updated with industry trends and best practices and providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of software design, architecture principles, and patterns
Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure, and Software AG
7+ years of relevant work experience in technology transformation within the banking sector.
• Experience developing integration solutions with on-prem and cloud-based applications.

Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
External relationships with vendors
Reporting to Application Development Manager and Support Manager
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work on-site in Greater London
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Professional certifications in relevant technologies are a plus
