Python programmer or Data Engineer with an interest in data science and trading to join a prestigious hedge fund in Singapore.

You will work closely across various teams including the Data Team, Portfolio Management Teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure necessary to support the firm's data management processes,
• Designing, building, and maintaining the data pipelines and systems necessary to support the firm's fundamental data analysis and trading strategies
• Developing and implementing data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure the integrity of our data
• Building and maintaining databases, warehouses, and data lake to support reporting, analysis, and research
• Implementing ETL processes
• Monitoring database performance and tuning database
• Providing technical support for database-related issues, including troubleshooting and problem resolution

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in Python and ETL related libraries such as pyodbc, SQLAlchemy, and Django
• Familiarity with ETL processes
• Familiarity with database systems such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
